Aiman's Fundraising Campaign

The Story

Hi ! I'm Fachrul Aiman Abd Razak , a second year Law student at Taylor's University with a passion in children and education. Apart from that, I'm also a tuition teacher to two amazing children and I've been doing this for about a year now. 

The main reason why I chose to fundraise this campaign is because I had an experience with cancer, whereby my late father passed away due to lung cancer. Seeing him lying down on his bed, suffering from all the pain that he went through for a period of 5 months had made me realised that I wish nobody in this world to suffer from cancer. I couldn't imagine children to suffer cancer, as I believe every child in this world should be given a chance to live their life to their fullest. The treatments, for instance chemotherapy are expensive and it will definitely burden these underprivileged children as well as their parents. 

My objective is to raise RM 1000, and all of it will be donated to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) whereby NSCM is lack of funds due to the current pandemic. Some of the services that will be provided by NSCM are :

1. Providing highly subsidised screening for the public and free screening for the underprivileged.
2. Providing nuclear imaging services at a highly subsidised rate
3. Providing ‘a home away from home’ for underprivileged child cancer patient – and their caregivers from outside of Kuala Lumpur.
4. Reaching out to the underprivileged communities and educate them on cancer prevention and early detection.
5. Providing support and cancer information to patients, survivors, caregivers, and the public.
