The Story

Hi. people. I'm Kai Ying from Non-Corporate Relation, AIESEC in Johor Bahru. 

I'm just joining AIESEC for about 3 months and are the beginning of my AIESEC journey. The first project I involved in is this and we are crowdfunding.

At first, I'm not really understand the situation of NGOs, how they operate, where their financial support comes. But now, I have little exposure to their vision and mission, which related to the 4th Sustainable Development Goal(SDG) - Quality Education. For your infomation, we AIESECers always working on SDG and hope to tackle problems related to SDG.

The NGOs are always helping to nurture the younger generations, which is our nation's backbone. And currently, due to the pandemic, NGOs are facing financial problem and need your help.

I feel quite different when I involve in this crowdfunding campaign. I never think of I'll will involve in crowdfunding and this is a new experience for me. Many people are not willing enough to involve in crowdfunding, so do I. But after I joined this campaign, I realized that the community really need our help, either financially or phisically.

If a little money can help NGOs, why not we donate? The amount of money don't really be very big, a little also can contribute to the community in providing better education to those deprived and suffered children who may only have little opportunity compare to other people like us.
