The Story

Youth Speak Forum is an event that empowers young people to understand how they can contribute to the SDGs through short and powerful talks and sparks interest in self-development through skills-building workshops.

For year 2021, due to Covid-19, AIESEC in Johor Bahru is hosting a virtual Youth Speak Forum 3.0 event where youths are able to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations that care for current and global issues and food waste issues are one of the issues. 

Clean Our Plate (COP) Project is a project that meant to tackle food waste and raise awareness on food waste issue among public especially youth. We realized this problem has gone too serious as I get the info of China food waste problem and also globally. The landfills also has been filled with million tons of food waste and rubbish. Therefore, we should take the initiative to raise awareness on food waste issues. Thus, I'm doing this fundraising to raise the awareness on food waste issues also to support the Clean Our Plate Project in AIESEC in Johor Bahru. Clean Our Plate Project will be conducted through school workshops, café engagement and university collaboration.
