About Us (Kylie, Kelvin, Daniel, Alex, Shao-En and Nicholas)
Hi everyone! We’re a ragtag team of volunteers from the University of Nottingham Malaysia intent on making a positive social impact and empowering others through a diverse range of initiatives. We’re proud advocates of inclusivity and bridging the gap between all sorts of communities in Malaysia.
Reason for Doing This
In light of the current global pandemic, many underprivileged communities in Malaysia find themselves facing an insurmountable health crisis, with a lack of resources to boot. Unfortunately, these people lack access to advanced health system infrastructures and basic supplies like face masks and disinfectants, resources that we all too often take for granted. Our goal is to raise awareness of this plight currently affecting millions of people residing in Malaysia, as well as to ultimately reach our target of RM3000 which will be put towards supplying face masks and hand sanitisers to these communities.
Let's Do This!
We’re excited to get started! It’s a great privilege to be able to help those in need to the best of our abilities. We believe through the collaborative efforts of SERUM, NGOhub and YOUth, we’re able to make massive strides towards improving the lives of disadvantaged groups. Knowing that so many people have been severely affected by the pandemic has helped us realise the very real need for this cause.
Support Us
For as little as RM10, donors will be supplying vulnerable communities in Malaysia with a basic hygiene kit that includes 50ml of hand sanitiser and a reusable face mask made by Pakistani refugees. A little goes a long way towards preventing the spread of Covid-19!
