The Story

Hi! My name is Zoe from AIESEC in Curtin University. I joined AIESEC since April 2020 and I have experienced and learned a lot of knowledge throughout my journey with AIESEC. AIESEC gave me an opportunity to learn things that I have never try before in order to step out from my comfort zone. Because of AIESEC, I have the chance to build relationships with people around me in AIESEC and believe the power of everyone who work as a team can influence the communities in East Malaysia. We are still effective in developig opportunities according to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for youths because we believe that our influence can create a change to our societies.

Speak Up Borneo, has been continuously operates since 2017 which is to deal with the issues of students' low English proiciency due to the shortage of National English Education in Miri, Sarawak. We combine with various schoools and learning partners to generate events and activities for students in rural areas to have the opportunities to learn and have fun with us. In addition, we believe that our small actions can contribute impacts to the students and the socieities.
