The Story

Hi I am Eva from AIESEC in CU !

I have joined AIESEC CU for almost 2 years which experienced physical and virtual operation hence improve me a lot in my AIESEC journey. This platform has provided me growth to be a better version of myself especially developing my capacity, get more understanding of the global issues, and striving for the best to make an impact in my community which we located in Miri, East Malaysia. We are always passionate to create volunteering opportunities based on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) where we strongly believe we will make more impact in our community. Thus, I'm standing out to start this fundraiser campaign for Speak Up Borneo in Miri, Sarawak!

ACU SPEAK UP BORNEO 8.0 

We focus on the problems of :
1) Student's low English proficiency level due to the quality of national English language education,
2) Students' subpar performance in applying science and mathematics knowledge
3) Gap in education quality between states and within states across Malaysia

OBJECTIVE

Through our project based on SDG 4.4 Quality Education, we want to reduce the education quality gap between privileged and unprivileged children. We are also determined to inspire and promote interests of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) among the youths!

In overall, this project aim to create a unique learning space for students to gain personal development and technology literacy.

GOAL BREAKDOWN

The funds willl be contributed towards:

1) Project Cost [Laptop for the students]

2) Administration Fee [Human Resource]

3) Operation fee [Marketing materials and project materials], Transportation and Facilitator Fee.

Every single contribution matters and brings a brighter future for the youth's education in East Malaysia!
