The Story

Hello there! I'm Ke Xin and it's been awhile since I joined AIESEC. This platform has provide me growth especially developing myself, get more understanding to global issue and striving for the best to make impact in my community which we located in Miri, East Malaysia. We are always passionate to create volunteering opportunity based on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) where we strongly believe we will make more impact in our community. 

Speak Up is a project where we focus on education to encounter the problem of students' low English profeciency due to lack of National English Education in Malaysia. In Miri itself, we are having "Speak Up Borneo" and delivering workshop classes for school in Marudi (a small village which need 2 hours drive from town) since 2017 and we've trying to lower down the education gap.

Hence, the purpose of this fund mainly contribute for, preparing laptop for students which don't have technological access, administration fee to run the project and operating fee for the access of platform for having working, facilitators, and materials for workshop etc
