EDUCATION IS A PROGRESSIVE DISCOVERY OF OUR OWN IGNORANCE

The Story

Hello! Thank you for being here. My name is Turnes. I am 24 years old. One of the member of AIESEC in UTAR,Kampar,Malaysia. After joining AIESEC, the first role I was given was agenda manager for a project called 'Speak Up'. One of the aim for the Speak Up project was implant the knowledge of Science,Technology,Engineering and Mathematics among students . 

After the completion of the project, I noticed many differences from the students in which their STEM knowledge had greatly increased after participating in the project. Hence, we've (AIESEC members) decided to come up with another Speak Up project to educate the school students from rural areas in Malaysia which also directly targets Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), goal number 4-Quality Education initiated by United Nation. For a change, this time we are also planning to acquire science kits for the B40 students from the donation that been made. Not only that, for every more than RM20.00 that have been donated, the donor able to customise the words which will then be sent to the students via postcard.

I believe that education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance and the supports given by you people will greatly help to improve the quality of theSTEM education the underprivileged students receive during this pandemic. Students of today are the leaders of Malaysia tomorrow in which education plays an important role. I can assure you that your support will definetely make a difference in the student's life.
