The Story

Hi! I am Shavita Ravi, Senior Executive in AIESEC in Taylor's University. I am advocating to raise funds for Speak Up which is one of the three national projects organised by AIESEC in Malaysia, focused on the social issues of low English proficiency and STEM knowledge among students.

Malaysian secondary school students have a poor command of English & lack of good communication. Based on the National Education Blueprint 2013-2025 (Preschool to Post-Secondary Education), 3 out of 10 of secondary students achieved a minimum credit in their SPM English paper.

Speak Up aims to empower underserved students in Malaysia by developing their English proficiency & enhancing their personal development through workshops and consistent communication initiatives.
