Creating impacts have been something that I've been passionate about since young. I strongly believe that as youths we have the capability to really bring an impact towards anything we do because in this generation, we are special and we are the ones who should make a difference.
I still remember the video that I've watched where it is about a sea turtle has a straw stuck in its nose and I'm pretty sure most of us here watched it as well. It is impossible to not feel anything while you're watching that video and it was such a painful scene to witness it and at the same time feeling helpless towards the beautiful creature.Since then, i felt the urge to actually clean the beaches whenever I had the chance to do so and I think it is a good practice for everyone too.
Then i stumbled upon AIESEC where it has amazing campaigns that are creating impacts all around the world according to the SDGs that are initiated by the United Nations. I was really glad that AIESEC in UMS have this project called Nature Warrior (SDG 14 - Life below Water) where it has been going on for years, contstantly rejuvenating the marine life in Sabah with love.
Words from an AIESEC-er in UMS, Jojo.
