The Story

Hi there, I'm Kar Yee, an AIESECer in Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Arranged by fate to study in Land Below the Wind last fall, which known for its beaches, rainforest, coral reefs and abundant wildlife. I truly believe in fate, and knowing that everything happens for a reason. So here I am! Salvage Mother Nature 🌊

Our campaign, Nature Warrior 5.0, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 14- Life Below Water, is a project designed to sustain the biodiversity of marine wildlife for a prolonged period and to raise awareness in the community in terms of conserving the environment. 

In my perspective, influencing people around us to reduce the usage of plastic especially plastic straw, plastic bag for take away as well as plastic tableware is not enough. We need more campaigns and more society works in our community to preserve and converse our Mother Nature in order to ensure that the percentage of rubbish/pollution is reduced in the polluted area and our cute little wildlife can live happily.
