Knowledge Change Destiny

The Story

Speak Up is a project which aims to empower under-served students in Malaysia to have a better future by developing self-understanding, confidence in students, and learn the basis of STEM skills. We provide a unique learning space for personal development and technical skills.

Targets SDG 4.4 – Quality Education

Increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship.

It's a sharing from one of our Virtual Volunteers:

Speak Up 14.0 Kedah-Perlis has managed to fulfill my expectations. I managed to find new friends with fellow Virtual Volunteers, Operating Committees, and also with the students. Thanks to the project I also learned new skills and honed my existing skills in a marvelous amount, especially teaching, speaking English on a daily basis, and for sure gaining new knowledge of Science in various aspects. Overall, that one month I dedicated to the project was definitely well spent.
