DESCRIPTION

The Psych Society is organizing a webinar ‘LIFE INTERRUPTED: SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION’. The purpose of this webinar is to provide insights into the lives of special needs educators, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar also seeks to provide financial support for the special needs individuals by organizing a donation after the webinar to aid them through these difficult times.

THE IMPACT

1. To promote the increasing need for special needs educators and volunteers;

2. To provide financial support for the special needs individuals;

3. To provide the platform for students to discover and understand the needs of special needs individuals, especially in their learning process;

4. To create a joyful and active session for students whilst gaining knowledge about the ongoing work behind the scenes of special needs education; and

5. To engage with individuals from various working backgrounds in education and understanding how education can bring about a change in society.
