The Story

Hi, I’m Zafirah (@zafirabdziz), 22, and a nature lover.

I’m currently pursuing English as a major interest at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang. Experience in other cultures and educate people are my passion. I love to see how a person could bring big impacts to society and I aim to be one.

My first platform? AIESEC.

By joining this club, I got to broaden up my knowledge, skills, and circle with various types of people. Be it good, or bad.

The environment, the beautiful green nature always has a special spot in my heart and it breaks my heart to see mother earth is dying day by day. It inspires me to bring awareness to people. Especially on the food waste issues that not many people are giving many thoughts of.

Why I’m fundraising for this campaign?

Easy, I want to make a better world for a better tomorrow.

This project aims to increase awareness, change attitude, initiate easy & obvious actions of youth & public towards reducing preventable food waste & fully utilizing food waste. We also intend to enlighten the public’s mindset of excess food, in order to be part of the movement that creates a world with zero food waste.
