Empowering Youth Through Education

The Story

This is not the first crowdfund I have partcipated for AIESEC in Penang, and it is far from my last.

When I joined AIESEC, I didn't understand the deeper meaning of crowdfunding, I thought it was a standard practise for an organisation like AIESEC to do. Raise funds and repeat. However as I powered through almost 3 terms with AIESEC, I realised the impact of community corwdfunding and who it has benefited. Similar to the hashtag Kita Jaga Kita, crowdfunding enables the community to help one another, and our goal is to be able for the wider community to help impact those target beneficiaries from our project Speak Up, which has now come to its eleventh run.

Therefore I ask my family and friends to give what you can, not because I am someone you know, but because you also believe that you have the power to enable Malaysian Youth far and wide, across skies and seas, with just 1 gesture.
