Thank you everyone for the donations! With your help, the donation has exceeded my own personal target which is RM500. Actually this campaign's ,Animal's Hope, aim is to achieve a target of RM2000 and we are a team of 7 people who helps to fundraise this campaign. We each have a target of RM500. Now, since I have reached my personal target, I am going to increase it to RM1000 to hopefully boost your morale to donate even more. Of course, do check out my friends' page as well.
Steps to explore their page is as follows:
13th May 2020
Currenly, Animal's Hope campaign has fundraised about RM1869.28 which is close to our initial goal. It looks like we can achieve RM2000 in no time. Thus, we decided to ask the NGO whether they have any other needs which can help the strays. The good news is yes ! They also need vaccine for the strays to prevent them getting rabies. Due to this reason, the new goal to achieve now has been increased to RM4000. It has been great to see everyone is so passionate about this problem. Words can't express how grateful am I to every single one of you. Here's a big THANK YOU to you all! Stay Safe and Safe Strays! :)

Sorry for the slow update but recently there is not really much updates on the activities going on. However, do stay tuned for what's gonna happen next week.
The main reason I'm writting this update here is because we have finally reached our personal target which is RM1000!! Woohoo! Cheers guys! Thank you everyone!
However, the main fundraising campaign requires RM4000. Thus, we shall keep working to help and share this awareness to everyone so that they can help out! So, let's keep going ! Spread the awareness!
Main Story:
Have you ever watched Youtube channels about Huskies or Corgis having fun time with their owners? Or videos on cats' daily activities? I mean they are not weird… I do watch them sometimes. But have you seen a stray dog that looks like it hasn’t eat for days, wagging its tail slowly, walk towards you for food? Or have you seen strays skipping their way across the street as they just got ran over by a vehicle? Or heard news on another person getting rabies from a stray dog? For most Malaysians, I guess the answer would be yes.
Hi, I am Ngieng Sen Zen. I am an AIESEC Virtual Volunteer who is currently helping to spread this awareness about pets. If you were to go to google and type in “rabies case in Sarawak”, you will probably get a news on a 5 years old girl who got bitten by a stray dog and not being treated carefully which lead to her death. Imagine that little girl being your child, how heartbroken would that be. In this current society, you might say I can just find information online to take precautions when I get bitten by a stray. However, does that solve the problem of stray animals running around and might bite anyone, anytime?
Rabies is one of the problem that brings danger to our community but how about the danger that could bring to the animals if they are stray? According to Sibu Animal Rescue Society(SARS), they have encountered cases where pets were being abused. The examples were the pet’s legs were being glued together or cellotape on the fur of the animals. It’s terrible to see people express their frustration on these helpless animal. I believe at this moment everyone do believe that these poor animals really need a proper shelter.
Hmm… so how can we help to reduce the amount of strays in the public?
What if I don’t want to adopt them, can I still help?
What if I’m not able to donate, what can I still do?
Talk so much… What do you even know about pets?
I have more questions who do I contact?
Remember all of us are citizens part of Earth. Animals are just a friend of different species to us.
