Long Live Fighters, It's Not The End!

The Story

I am a Diploma in Public Relations student from Management and Science University (MSU).  I am currently undergoing my internship at the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) for a period of 4 months. It has been a week since I started working for this NGO. During my first week, I saw many kidney failure patients and it made me very emotional. Seeing them suffering made me realised that my job here is not just to learn about the PR world but I really want to contribute and make a difference for these patients. The patients undergo dialysis 3 times a week and 4 hours per session. I put myself in their shoes and could feel the pain they go through every week. These patients will have lower chances to survive if they do not undergo dialysis for 7 days. I decided that during my short time here, I want to contribute in my little way as possible.  As such, that is the reason why I am up for this online fundraising campaign. I hope this way could plaster a few smiles across the faces of some of the patients at NKF.
