St. John Ambulans Malaysia, South Kedah Area

St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, South Kedah Area (St. John Ambulans Malaysia, Kawasan Kedah Selatan) is the local chapter of St. John Ambulans Malaysia in the south of Kedah. Our coverage is 2566.27 km²  or three district which are Kulim, Bandar Baharu and Baling.

As a not for profit organization, we are run entirely by volunteers and rely of public goodwill to help sustain our operations.  Our traditional methods of fundraising have been dented this year by the COVID-19 pandemic and have to resort to newer methods of fundraising.

As part of our initiatives to serve the community better we are looking to more actively perform non-emergency ambulance serve and eventually emergency ambulance service to supplement the local hospitals.  At the moment we are operating a single ambulance which is not able to cater to the rising needs and coverage for the local community.
