MyKasih Foundation

MyKasih Foundation is a charity organisation that helps underprivileged Malaysians through food aid and education. In a nutshell, we have two flagship programmes:

The “Love My Neighbourhood” cashless food aid programme – enabling family beneficiaries to purchase essential foods The “Love My School” cashless bursary programme – enabling student beneficiaries to purchase canteen food and school supplies

Both are cashless welfare distribution programmes that run on a proprietary chip technology of the MyKad (Malaysian national identity card), enabling donor funds to reach targeted beneficiaries directly to be used for cashless payments of provisions at our partner retail outlets (e.g. Mydin, Giant, Econsave, The Store, Pacific Milimewa, 99 Speedmart, Lotus’s Stores (Tesco), EconoMart , as well as smaller supermarkets and mini marts) and schools nationwide.

This method of cashless welfare disbursement direct to low-income households ensures that aid is distributed efficiently to deserving Malaysians identified in partnership with the government and other NGOs.

MyKasih relies entirely on donations from the public and corporate bodies to help fund its welfare programmes. Donors are assured that 100 percent of their contributions go to underserved families and students to help meet their immediate needs.

All cash donations to MyKasih Foundation are TAX-EXEMPT and passed IN FULL to beneficiaries.

In addition to the cashless welfare distribution programmes, we also support Orang Asli children’s education through their respective community learning centers and other supplementary assistance programmes such as upskilling workshops and livelihood programmes.
