Project Kasih: Sharing and changing lives in the community

THE PROBLEM

Serving as one of their community projects, a group of Sunway University students have come together and decided on one mission; to prevent the use of drugs and raise awareness on the abuse of drugs use. It is not easy to start something that they are not familiar with in the first place, but wIth the help and support from Drug-Free Malaysia, they are confident that they can start and actualize their mission and start step by step. However, this cannot be done without your help!

THE SOLUTION

Owning up to its name, the ‘KASIH’ Project is all about giving and caring to the community. This project will allow them to give to the community with what they have prepared. With the main aim of preventing the use of drugs in the community, they try to approach the community in a more exciting and interactive way. Instead of giving talks about the harm of using drugs, they want to teach the community how to start up their small business with the use of digital marketing. This way, the community will come up with their own ideas for their businesses that can drive them away from the thoughts of using drugs.

THE IMPACT

In order to execute the event, they need your help to raise funds. The donation will be used to purchase ingredients and materials for the project. The remaining funds will be given to the community in the Lembah Subang area for them to start up their own business.
