After teaching the children in PPR Community and living with them in Kampung Malaysia for a few months, the teacher has identified a few aspects which need to be given attention among the children and youths in the area namely:
Hence, the teacher seeks to organize a board game activity which will assist in building positive relationships between the two groups as well as encouraging them to be competitive in a healthy way.
The teacher believes that social skills education through fun approach will be beneficial to the targeted group in a long-run. This is because board game will not only encourage the students to be competitive in a critical yet positive way, but also improve on the quality communication between youths and children.
Through playing board games, they will also learn negotiation skills, strategizing skills and teamwork which are the key skills that they will need to have once they go into the community outside their residential area. They will also learn about the importance of helping each other. Besides that, this event is indoor which makes it safe for the groups to play together.
Towards the end of the campaign, the teacher wishes to see positive changes among the youths and children of PPR Kampung Malaysia in terms of:

Goal 1 - Board game rental for 30 pax/ 3 hour (with facilitators). Amount Needed: MYRRM900
