MISI7 Humanitarian Funding is a crucial necessity for the organization to establish stability in its humanitarian efforts, with the aim of achieving a greater impact for the beneficiaries.
The organization commenced its humanitarian endeavors through volunteer-driven field operations since 2015. In its effort to raise awareness, provide exposure, and offer guidance to the community, also aiming for a substantial impact as humanitarian field volunteers, we conduct humanitarian aid activities by providing volunteers with opportunities for more comprehensive participation. From 2015 to 2023, over 39 communities, amounting to approximately 1,170 beneficiaries, have been directly assisted through the organization's programs in countries such as Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Philippines.
MISI7 Humanitarian Funding will be segregated into below categories/programmes:
NO | ITEMS | PROGRAM SUMMARY |
1 | ADMINISTRATION | The cost estimation includes: Committee member allowances, office rent, utilities, logistics and office supplies. At the moment, MISI7 does not have an office due to administration financial constraints. |
2 | PROGRAM: BASIC VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION | This program provides awareness, exposure and guidance to the community to make a significant impact as humanitarian volunteers. |
3 | PROGRAM: VOLUNTEER HUMANITARIAN EXPEDITION | Through this program, volunteers will visit beneficiaries in Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Philippines. |
4 | PROGRAM: VOLUNTEER VISITS AND CONTRIBUTIONS | Through this program, volunteers will visit MISI7 beneficiaries' madrasahs/schools/welfare homes across Peninsular Malaysia. |
5 | FUNDS FOR EDUCATION OF MALAYSIAN ASNAF STUDENTS | Funds to finance the educational expenses of selected underprivileged students in Malaysia through Program Anak MISI7. |
6 | FUNDS FOR EDUCATION OF MUALLAF IN CAMBODIA | Funds to provide religious guidance to muallaf beneficiaries in Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia, so that they can acquire proper knowledge. |
7 | FUNDS FOR EDUCATION OF ASNAF STUDENTS IN THAILAND | Funds to support the continuation of education for minority Muslim asnaf students in Chiang Rai region, Thailand. |
8 | FUNDS FOR DISASTER RELIEF PREPAREDNESS IN MALAYSIA | Every year, MISI7, together with volunteers, will actively assist flood victims to alleviate their burdens. With the availability of these funds, aid can be delivered more promptly in the future. |
In delivering humanitarian assistance, MISI7 places its primary focus on aiding education for the underprivileged (asnaf) by implementing 4-phase action plan based on the 'Touch & Stay' concept, which includes:
PHASE 1: Aid & Contributions.
PHASE 2: Recovery & Local Potential Study.
PHASE 3: Economic Development.
PHASE 4: Monitoring & Disbursement.
Each volunteer who joins the organization's programs, whether directly or indirectly, is a part of every phase of this assistance. They will be given direct exposure to the situation and actions when they are in the field.
Despite MISI7's focus on educational assistance, the organization is always prepared to be on the ground with volunteers to provide aid during the country's times of natural disasters such as floods and others.

The name 'MISI7' was established on January 16, 2015. During a significant flood disaster in Kelantan, an NGO carried out a total of 14 flood relief missions there. A group of volunteers from the 7th flood relief mission maintained this group and continued to engage in humanitarian activities.
The name 'MISI7' is symbolic of the gathering that brought together volunteers to establish this organization.
