Funding Child's Dream

THE PROBLEM

We are a group of students from University of Malaya, currently taking he course GLT1015: Advanced Writing Skills. We have decided to organise an online fundraising project for Trinity Children's Home in Petaling Jaya as our project in this course.

Many charity homes, orphanages and foundations need help and support to stay afloat because yearly expenses can run into hundreds of thousands or even over a million ringgit for the bigger establishments. As the living costs increase, the financial cost of operating an orphanage also rises. This may indirectly affect children's living condition as well.

Currently, Trinity Children Home requires between RM18,000 to RM20,000 per month to run efficiently. This amount comprises of the rental for the premises, expenditure for the children’s needs, upkeep of the home and staff salaries.

THE SOLUTION

Through this campaign, we hope to raise RM 500.00 for Trinity Chidlren's Home. We will transfer all the money donated to the organisation so that they have the flexibility to purchase what they need to sustain their daily operations. We hope that through this project, we can help to defray the monthly expenses of Trinity Children's Home. Besides that, we hope that children staying there will be benefited through this project by getting their basic needs and education fees. 

THE IMPACT

Children in Trinity Children's Home will be benefited through this meaningful project. The money collected will be handled by Trinity Children's Home to sustain their daily operations. It will be used for rental of the premises, staff salaries and expenditure for the children's needs. Besides that, with enough funding, children can attend tuitions, baking classes and music classes!
