THE PROBLEM

Many students in Kampung Orang Asli Serendah face difficulties passing Maths and Science subjects, with a significant number having failed and lacking access to tuition opportunities because their parents cannot afford to pay for external tuition to enhance their knowledge in both subjects.

THE SOLUTION

To address this, we've hired a more qualified teacher to teach both subjects in the village and provide free tuition for Kampung Orang Asli Serendah students. The tuition price is RM150 per hour, with a total required amount of tuition is RM17,100 for 114 hours of teaching for both subjects, Mathematics and Science, effective from June 1, 2024, to June 29, 2025 for 15-20 students in Kampung Orang Asli Serendah and and this fund will cover for a year time.

THE IMPACT

Providing free tuition in Maths and Science enables students to better understand and excel in these subjects and leading to improved exam grades in school.
