THE PROBLEM

In rural areas, school students often lack access to quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and opportunities for hands-on learning experiences. Limited resources, including funding, equipment, and trained educators, contribute to disparities in STEM education between rural and urban communities.

As a result, many rural students miss out on valuable learning opportunities that could inspire their interest in STEM fields and prepare them for future academic and career paths. Without exposure to STEM concepts and activities, these students may face barriers to pursuing higher education or careers in STEM-related fields, limiting their potential for personal and professional growth.

THE SOLUTION

Our STEM Community Outreach Project aims to address these challenges by bringing engaging and interactive STEM programming directly to rural school students. Through hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and activities, we will introduce students to exciting STEM concepts and inspire their curiosity and interest in these fields.

By collaborating with local schools, community organizations, and STEM professionals, we will create a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and collaboration. Through our project, students will have the opportunity to participate in STEM challenges, experiments, and projects that spark their imagination and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

THE IMPACT

Goal 1 - Materials and Supplies: Science kits , Project equipment, Robotics kits ,building materials, Art supplies for STEM-related crafts. Amount Needed: MYRRM 1000
